CHECK MATE

I have this problem that when I style a shoot I always seem to end up buying at least one item and it's happened again... (just this time 2!)

I fell in love with this blazer from New Look as soon as I saw it on the mannequin. I used the boyfriend style alternative in a shoot which sold out almost immediately. I went to order and whilst I was browsing New Look's new in section, I noticed they had a fitted waist version. I knew this would suit my petite 5ft 2 frame as I often look like I'm drowning in anything oversized. It's fab, great value and quality in comparison to similar styles on the high street.. also completely office and weekend appropriate. Oh and also very on trend, incase you haven't seen it featured on Instagram 100 times already!!

I'm having a bit of a moment with tee's.. there are so many cool versions on the high street. They look great with jeans and trainers for a casual look and can easily be dressed up to head out out, a bit like how I've styled with the blazer for instance. Simply add a pair of heels - boots or an alternative works! What I liked best about this tee in particular was the added detailing - a velvet motif and a scattering of pearls, both of which are very on trend and chic!
