DELICATE DETAILS

Anyone who knows me (or follows me on Instagram), will have probably cottoned on to the fact that I LOVE a bit of co-ordination. I just can't help myself and I have always subconsciously done it, not just with fashion.

Don't get me wrong I love colour, but there's just something about black. Perhaps it's the fact it's a classic that never goes out of fashion and is often associated with looking chic..

I used this Mango knit in an editorial shoot and fell in love. I styled it totally different to how I'm wearing it here, but I figured it would be a good addition to the wardrobe. It's quite a relaxed style but the contrasting trims and visible cut out shoulder shows the right amount of skin for it to be easily wearable during the day or dressed up for an evening.

I simply cannot, not talk about this Topshop floral embroidered bag.. how nice? The best part about it is that it was a gorgeous gift from my best friend and I bloomin' love it (she's even more of a keeper now - Jessica)! A statement bag like this looks great with a basic colour scheme outfit - it's there to do the talking after all.

I'm not one to wear lots of jewellery, I like the odd statement necklace but rings and bracelets are definitely my go-to. I recently went on an earring shopping spree, after discovering that I didn't in fact need my ears re-pierced which I had genuinely thought for about 2 years! I'm loving the statement styles on the high street at the moment and they definitely lift an outfit. These earrings were H&M and if I remember correct, only £3. As I always say about accessories is that they can inexpensively totally transform a look without having to buy a whole new outfit.

The boots were a great H&M purchase a while back, they're a bit of a statement boot with the buckle and patent but I've managed to incorporate them into plenty of outfits. Obviously the belt matches the boots.. believe it or not, that wasn't intentional!

Ps. excuse my awkwardness in photos ..I am far better behind the camera!
