A few weeks ago West Quay kindly invited me to their Christmas event and when it involves fashion and food, there's only ever one answer and that is yes!

The girls and I met the lovely Laura & Hayley at Wagamamas to start the evening with canap├ęs and bubbles. It was the ideal scenario to be able to test and try some of the menu since I had only ever been once. I wouldn't class myself as a fussy eater but I definitely stick to what I know and any form fancy terminology well and truly throws me off course. Who'd have thought edamame beans covered in salt were so good? (You can now understand why I am no food blogger). We also had the chilli squid and tori kara age. I'm definitely a Wagamama covert.

We headed to Oasis Fashion for the next stop where the lovely Rachel talked us through the current trends for the party season and what to look out for next season. Oasis is definitely a forgotten gem, I recently purchased a gilet and have not stopped wearing it - a love at first sight situation.

Our final session was at The Body Shop, for a party-inspired makeup tutorial including an insight into the current christmas range. We were able to have a mooch around and the sales assistant was on hand to talk us through any products we wanted to know more about.

A big thank you to the PR ladies for organising a lovely evening.
